“Why Incident Management Matters” training establishes a benchmark of consistent understanding across the client’s core team on the importance of leading indicators and how early reporting drives “world class” health and safety operational excellence.
Description
This interactive course will help participants “see” safety better so that they can become more effective coaches and leaders. From the standpoint of identifying hazards and from the standpoint of seeing into possible reasons for the hazards identified. Understanding the reasons for hazards will help participants determine effective corrective and preventative actions.
The course can supplement an organization’s policies and procedures related to the reporting of observations, near misses, incident reporting, and investigations.

About the presenter:
Eric Glass, a Senior EHS Advisor with UL Workplace Health & Safety, has 18 years of risk management, loss control and safety experience.
He is an OSHA Outreach Trainer and advises companies on the design of advanced risk management and safety programs.
In addition, Eric provides insight for workplace safety training and software development and contributes to UL’s Fire and Electrical Safety Audits offering for international ready-made garment factories. He also assisted with development of Florida’s first continuing education safety curriculum for service contractors in the HVAC, electrical and plumbing industries.
